6.25 nice miles today. After a long Turkey weekend in the hospital with Eliza, felt good to get out and feel the cool wind in my beard.
being sick = not sleeping well
being sick + having a sick 1 yr old = sleeping terribly
sleeping terribly = hitting snooze
hitting snooze = getting up late
getting up late = less time for a run
less time for a run = 4.1 miles
Still not feeling 100% but since my throat doesn't feel like 1000 tiny ninjas are chopping it to bits and pouring sriracha into the open wounds, I got in a decent run.
Threw in a 1 mile tempo just for fun.
WORST. RUN. EVER.
Chest was heavy and couldn't breathe well. Hills the whole time, plus coughing up junk the whole time.
Was planning on 13 but had to cut it short.
