20.5 miles

Ran the Big Cottonwood course with a friend and his neighbor. Didn't push this run at all and felt good throughout. My shoes are 1/2 size too small so my toes felt a bit crammed with all the downhill. The out and back section along Wasatch is much shorter this year and shouldn't be too much of an issue for a lot of runners. It's no wonder this race is taking precedence over STG this year. Saw lots of police cars, fire engines, and emt crews flying up the canyon. Figured someone had fallen on a hike early this morning. When I got back to my car at Guardsman, they were there working on a guy who had rolled his truck off the road up top.

Solid run, 20 miles is never a joke. I guess you are trying to keep up with James in the mileage department.

I am having one of my highest mileage weeks of the year, for no reason at all, and I still won't even have half the miles that James will.
