Felt good for the first mile so I decided to see how I felt with a little tempo. Rant he next two miles in 6:44 and 6:43. Then I had to turn back to home and hit some hills. Feel like some of my fitness is coming back.

Ran from my house to Cass' parents to pick up the girls. Was freezing cold in the shade of Mt. Olympus but once the sun hit me I was nice and hot.

Out and back south along Wasatch. I tucked into a neighbor hood for a quick .25 just to round out the run. Just about 3 miles to La Caille's driveway. Didn't feel great to start, but felt better with each passing mile.

Just another morning run trying to get more consistent with my workouts. I was a bit sore from Iron Strength yesterday and today was a good shakeout run.

Ran up BCC to the controversial Tavaci developement and then decided to run up the bridge and check it out. It is awesome up there and there is about a 1/2 mile loop up there to run. Just 1 home has been built and it is super cool. I think it will be fun to run up there once there are more mansions built. Then ran back down to the road and up the canyon to dogwood into a tough headwind. Turned around and dropped back down to my house.

Ran the LCC loop. Felt pretty good throughout the run. Still struggling to find the higher gears. Hope they come back soon with some quicker runs. Thought it was odd that the river was bone dry.

Ran down Bengal and to Brighton Way. Then over to Ft. Union Blvd and up BCC for a bit. Turned around and ran back to Wasatch and up to the light by the fire station and then turned back home. Never felt like pushing too much. One of those blah runs for me. Just ok, nothing special.

Couldn't pull myself out of bed when the alarm went off. So, I left a little later, around 7, and paid the price for that decision. It started snowing right when I left the house. It was pleasant to run in the snow until I got out on Wasatch Blvd. The conditions got much worse. Driving snow, lots of traffic, and no hat made me super uncomfortable for 3 miles. Once I got off of Wastach and back into the neighborhood everything was much better.

Ran down Bengal to 2300 e and then down that until 6200 s. Then turned back up to the BCC trail and up to my house again. Left a little late so I had to push the downhills to make it home in time. Avg for the first 4 miles was 6:51/mile. Felt ok and had about 3/4 mile of up in the last mile coming back up to Holladay Blvd.

Just a casual 6 on my usual Wasatch/Danish loop. Boston Marathon day and I was just 15 seconds shy of being there.

Met James and Jake for a little Mt. Wire adventure. Was a beautiful morning and had a great time kicking my own butt. Then the downhill had a little more adventure than we expected when I didn't give James enough room on the trail and he hooked his toe on a big rock or root and went down pretty hard. He had 1 nice handpick and almost pulled out of the fall but gravity took over and pulled him down.

Ran a nice loop that consisted of 6 miles. The legs were still pretty sore from Wednesday and didn't really feel to happy about running today. They do feel much better now though, so a good shakeout run I guess.

Did a loop for a mile and then picked up Andy (neighbor friend) and did the usual Danish Loop. Then added anothe 3/4 mile to round out the 7 miles. Nothing like a nice run after a rain storm.

We got invited over to dinner at Cass' sister's house. So, I decided to run over rather than drive since Cass was already there waiting for me to get off of work. Tried to hurry over there and ran the first two miles at about a 7:10 avg with some quicker sections. Then I hit the hills from La Caille over to Rocky Mouth Trailhead. There are several rolling hills there and a couple of decent climbs.
Averaged just under a 7:30 for the entire run. Felt good, but was way to hot in my jacket. I thought it was going to rain so I went prepared and paid the price.

Ran a beauty of a loop up in Huntsville. I don't know my way around up there but I ran from the cabin we were at in 500 S over to the monestary and then wound my way around the area until I hot 500 s again. Then went out to the main road gas station and turned around and went back.
