Today the bed monster had a good firm grip on me. I didn't feel like getting out and pounding the pavement. Then when I finally dragged my butt out of bed and got dressed, my wife is making pancakes. It smelled incredible and I was hungry. I refrained from eating and slowly put on my shoes trying to think of a reason to not get out and run. Then I got out and the first mile was tough mentally. I just wanted to lay back down after a late night. Then I decided to just go kick my own butt by choosing a really hilly route. After about 4 miles of hills my attitude changed and I was super happy to be out running. Glad I got in the run today.
